UGC NET 2022 Application Fee
The application fee for the UGC NET exam 2022 is different for all categories. The application fee is not refundable or transferable once paid. It can be paid through credit/ debit card or e-Challan. All the candidates paying through e-Challan have to make the cash payment in the bank. The category-wise fee details are mentioned below:
- General/Unreserved: Rs. 1100/-
- OBC-NCL: Rs. 550/-
- SC/ST/PwD/Transgender: Rs. 275/-
UGC NET Educational Qualification
– Candidates must have a Master’s degree or equivalent from UGC-recognized Universities/Institutions.
– The qualifying exam has to be passed in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications and Electronic Science.
– Candidates should have scored 55% marks and 50% marks for reserved category students.
– Candidates, appearing in the final semester of the master’s degree can also apply.
– 5% relaxation is given to Ph.D. degree holders in aggregate marks. Such candidates should have a Master’s degree examination which shall be completed by 19th September 1991.
UGC NET 2022 Exam Pattern
UGC NET 2022 June Examination shall be conducted as Computer Based Test (CBT) only. The Online Test will consist of two papers. Both the papers will consist of objective type, multiple-choice questions. There will be no break between two papers.

Note: For each correct response the candidate will get 2 marks but there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
UGC NET Paper Details
Exam Mode: The entrance test will be organized in Online CBT mode.
Number of Papers: There will be two papers for the exam – Paper-I and Paper-II.
Number of Questions: A total of 150 questions will be there in the exam paper. 50 questions in Paper I and 100 questions in Paper-II.
Type of Questions: The question paper will contain multiple-choice type questions.
Language Medium: The question paper will be available in the medium language of English and Hindi.
Time Duration: Paper I will be of 1-hour duration while Paper II will be of 2 hours.
Total Marks: Paper 1 will be 100 marks and Paper-II will be 200 marks.
Marking Scheme: For every correct answer, 2 marks will be given. There will be no provision of negative marking for incorrect answers.

UGC NET 2022 Selection Procedure
Candidates who pass the UGC NET 2022 entrance exam will be chosen from a topic and category merit list that will be published online. The top 6% of all students who have taken both papers in the examination will be declared qualified for the entrance exam. Admission to various Indian universities or institutions for the job of Assistant professor or JRF would be granted based on their category’s cut-off score. Only the top 15% of candidates in each category and subject will be chosen and deemed eligible for the Assistant Professor position.
UGC NET 2022 Admit Card
Those who have been waiting for the UGC NET Admit Card 2022 should rejoice now that the Chairman of the UGC has announced that the exam would be held in June 2022. If the exam date is set for June, you will be able to obtain your hall ticket starting in May 2022. You must go to ugcnet.nta.nic.in and search for UGC NET Admit Card 2022 using your name and date of birth. Fill in the required information on the webpage to obtain your UGC NET Hall Ticket 2022. So, after the link is published, check your ugcnet.nta.nic.in 2022 Admit Card and utilize it to check your Exam Date and Exam Center.
UGC NET 2022 Answer key
The board will provide the UGC NET 2022 Answer key after the admission exam is completed. Candidates will be able to access the answer key through the internet. The answer key for Papers I and II will be released in several sets, each containing all of the correct answers to the questions on the exam paper. Candidates can also challenge the answer key if they are unhappy with the answers provided. The board will provide a final answer key after reviewing the challenges.
UGC NET 2022 Cut Off
UGC NET 2022 Cut Off will be published online by the authority after the entrance test. Separate category-wise and subject-wise merit lists will be drawn for the students successfully secure the cut-off marks.
